Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer to join our fast-growing Product Engineering Services (PES) team in Ahmedabad. This role is centered on industrial applications, with an added advantage for candidates having exposure to avionics or cutting-edge consumer electronics. The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end development of robust, high-performance electronic systems and work closely with cross-functional teams across the hardware-software spectrum.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the architecture, design, and development of electronic hardware systems for industrial applications.
  2. Develop high-reliability PCBs and embedded systems, focusing on signal integrity, power management, and thermal performance.
  3. Perform component selection, schematic capture, and oversee PCB layout—ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  4. Demonstrate strong proficiency in microcontroller, microprocessor, and DSP-based systems.
  5. Collaborate with layout engineers, firmware/software developers, and mechanical teams to ensure complete product integration.
  6. Conduct simulations, performance testing, and troubleshooting to validate design against functional and environmental specifications.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, EN, DO-160, MIL-STD-461).
  8. Guide junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the hardware team.
  9. Drive innovation by staying informed of the latest trends in industrial and embedded electronics.
  10. Work alongside project managers to meet development timelines and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  2. 8+ years of experience in hardware design and development, preferably for industrial-grade products.
  3. Strong understanding of embedded systems design and integration.
  4. Proficiency with tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, or similar ECAD platforms.
  5. Hands-on experience with design validation, testing, debugging, and productization.
  6. Exposure to standards and regulatory compliance (IEC, CE, FCC, etc.); experience with DO-160 or MIL-STD is a plus.
  7. Familiarity with FPGA-based systems and high-speed digital design is a bonus.
  8. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  9. Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
