We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer to join our fast-growing Product Engineering Services (PES) team in Ahmedabad. This role is centered on industrial applications, with an added advantage for candidates having exposure to avionics or cutting-edge consumer electronics. The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end development of robust, high-performance electronic systems and work closely with cross-functional teams across the hardware-software spectrum.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of electronic hardware systems for industrial applications.
- Develop high-reliability PCBs and embedded systems, focusing on signal integrity, power management, and thermal performance.
- Perform component selection, schematic capture, and oversee PCB layout—ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in microcontroller, microprocessor, and DSP-based systems.
- Collaborate with layout engineers, firmware/software developers, and mechanical teams to ensure complete product integration.
- Conduct simulations, performance testing, and troubleshooting to validate design against functional and environmental specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, EN, DO-160, MIL-STD-461).
- Guide junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the hardware team.
- Drive innovation by staying informed of the latest trends in industrial and embedded electronics.
- Work alongside project managers to meet development timelines and customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in hardware design and development, preferably for industrial-grade products.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems design and integration.
- Proficiency with tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, or similar ECAD platforms.
- Hands-on experience with design validation, testing, debugging, and productization.
- Exposure to standards and regulatory compliance (IEC, CE, FCC, etc.); experience with DO-160 or MIL-STD is a plus.
- Familiarity with FPGA-based systems and high-speed digital design is a bonus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
